Marianh & Will thank you for having me as your Memorial Art Gallery Wedding Photographer! My day began at Shear Ego in Pittsford with Marianh and her bridesmaids who were all getting their hair styled and make up done for the big day. After the ladies emerged, transformed, from a fog of hairspray we headed over to the Del Monte for a quick change where Marianh, with help from her eager bridesmaids, slipped into her wedding dress. The limo then chauffeured the group over to Our Lady of Victory St. Joseph’s Church which is conveniently located right across the street from my studio. St. Jospeph’s is an historical church built in 1864 and is perhaps one of the more awe inspiring churches I’ve photographed in here in Rochester. Following the ceremony and mass we made a few quick family shots outside the church and then made our way over to the Memorial Art Gallery for more photos and the couple’s reception. Delayed a bit by the rain, we recessed for a bit before heading back out and making some lovely photographs of Marianh & Will. With only about fifteen minutes before the gallery closed we hurried over to one of the couple’s favorite painters (Monet) and made a few quick photographs amid the amazing art and architecture within. After a lovely cocktail hour we moved into the ballroom where the two were toasted by friends and family. After dinner the band brought everyone to their feet and the rest of the evening was electric and alive with dancing & libations! I had so much fun working with you both and wish you two the very best!
